Let's see, I sent my last payments to people on Wednesday, so that makes, what, a whole two days I've gone without eBay? Woohoo. Robin, I know what you mean about suddenly having all this extra time. If only I could motivate myself to actually put it to good use... [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Ok I admit I did today go to ebay only to read the thread that 51 people were taken by the seller who list 80+ new 18" dolls some received mini's while most other received nothing.

That was the only place I went on ebay...didn't go to my ebay...does that count?

It help remind one of the reason I don't need ebay to buy stuff. Plus prices will sky rocket now on ebay before Christmas. And I remind myself that AG is donating toys to the hurricane children. I need to support Mattel with purchases.

Well, I didn't make it all the way to christmas, but I'm starting again.

I won outfit I was bidding on the day we started this. I had originally planned to just let myself get outbid, but I couldn't do it. I let myself get outbid on the other 4 things I was bidding on before we started this though. If the outfit is in good condition, I got a good deal. Kirsten's summer dress, hat and red boots, with shipping for $25. It isn't extreme savings, but it's not bad.

BUT now, NO EBAY. I have more resolve this time, and feel the guilt for rebidding on the last one. I am also not placing any AG orders until Christmas.

I have so much stuff. I can do this!

I'm still staying off, but it's getting harder, especially when there isn't much action on this board.
So far, I haven't logged on to ebay AT ALL, which is what I usually did before or after checking on the action on the board.
I announced my resolve to add social pressure, and to hopefully gain support, but WOW! I hadn't counted on such super-support!! [img]biggrin.gif[/img]
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, indeed...

I really, really wanted to go on e-Bay yesterday "just to look," but I restrained myself. It is so fun to browse on e-Bay and just typing about this now makes me want to go "browse."

I resolve to get some work done and stay off!
Not only does e-Bay end up costing me a lot of money, it wastes a lot of my time. I can't believe how fast the time goes by when I am on e-Bay. One search leads to another, etc.

I mentioned this in another post, but I lost out of Kailey's aqua shoes and have decided she doesn't need them anyway. I had forgotten it was on my watch list, so I got an e-mail it was about to end. But that was last weekend, and so far so good.
